Ethics Statements

Hurrian Education follows Ethics Statements principles of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). Detailed Ethics Statements of COPE might be accessed via this link.

Basic principles of Ethical Guides for responsible divisions are indicated below.

Editorial Team’s Ethics Guideline 

Editorial team members are responsible for peer review process are carried out by authors and reviewers

Editorial team members are responsible for monitoring and preventing conflict of interest between parties

Editorial team members are responsible for monitoring and preventing plagiarism, duplication, data fabrication or guest-authorship. In such detected case, Editorial member may require authors for clarification and explanation upon the issue.

Editorial Team members make sure personal data collected are used for only journal process.

Authors’ Ethics Guideline 

Authors do not submit manuscript to another journal before a decision made by Hurrian Education

Authors should report unethical behaviors and reviews of reviewers to Editorial Team

Authors should inform possible conflict of interest upon submission

Authors should prevent plagiarism, duplication, data fabrication or fake guest-authorship

Authors should follow scientific and editorial standards

Reviewers’ Ethics Guideline 

Reviewers should comply with COPE standards for peer reviewers

Reviewers should be informative and avoid vague comments

Reviewers should maintain objectivity in all review process

If anonymity of authors exposed due to errors without the knowledge of Editorial Team then, reviewers will maintain the objectivity. In case of unable to maintaining objectivity, the reviewer will inform Editorial Team

In case of authors’ complaints on appropriating authors’ work by the reviewers then, Editorial Team investigates the issue. If the claim is justified then, reviewer will be removed from journal database. All possible future manuscript submissions to Hurrian Education and reviewer role for Hurrian Education will be prevented
